Denton Kids
We live in a town outside of Dallas and Fort Worth. It has a small town feel and we love raising our boys here. There is always so much to do and we love that even a night out can be fun as a whole family. We had a fun filled day yesterday and it was all things DENTON!

We started the day at the local Children's Museum called Explorium. It was our first time going and I have to say, we will be back. Owen absolutely loved the hands on learning that was almost every where. He played with magnets, a microscope (this was his favorite), played 4 Square, and even roasted some marshmallows. The last thing he enjoyed was learning about Dinosaur fossils from Dino Bo.

Logan loved the Museum too. He loved playing with shaving cream and throwing balloons into the wind machine and watching the float up high. It was a safe and clean space that both kiddos loved.

Having a local place like the Explorium is a true blessing when we are looking for fun for the family without having to drive 30 minutes or an hour.
After an afternoon at the Museum we decided to have dinner at our favorite local hamburger stop, LSA. The kids love seating upstairs on the rooftop and listening to some local live music. Great family friendly place with AMAZING food! The weekends are always busy so, if you are not one to like to wait try them at lunch. Since we grabbed a fairly early dinner we decided to take a stroll around the Square and ended up at another local favorite, Denton County Brewing Company. They always have amazing beers and wine and are now serving some homemade Toast! It is kid friendly before 9pm, so we of course brought the kiddos along.Owen and Logan played Tic-Tac-Toe and ISpy while Austin and I enjoyed their new Sour Brew.

It was great and a great way to end a fun filled day. Denton is always fun and just love the local flare. Keep and eye out for my Valentines blog post that will feature Denton County Brewing Company and another favorite local restaurant.
XOXO
Amanda
