Quarantine Easter 2020

We have been under Stay at Home orders since the middle of March. Every week our local government meets and decides if we should extend the orders. As of now we are under the Stay at Home until April 30th. With this news we knew Easter would be very different this year.

When knew that we would be watching mass on TV and we would be making our own Easter meal, but the hardest part was not being able to celebrate with all our family as we usually do.

Just because we would not be able to get out and about on this Easter did not mean would couldn't get all dressed up and take some family photos.

I am so glad that the boys still are all willing to get dressed up and match each other. I don't do this often so I really appreciate their willingness to enthuse their mom.

The weather couldn't of been better and the day was perfect.

All these great photos will be great to look back on years from now and remember that one Easter we had to stay home.

My handsome boys. Growing up too fast but this time we are spending at home has been a blessing. They love playing together and helping each other out. The situation is not ideal but at least we have each other and our health.

My parents and sister came by and they hid eggs for the boys in our front yard. They got Easter baskets from their grandparents and the Easter Bunny so no missing out on that part.

We had the bubble machine out and even did some chalk art. It was perfect. We did drop off some yummy treats to my grandparents and Austins grandmother. It has been hard not being able to spend time with our loved ones or have them over like we are used to, but we know we all need to keep our distance to stay healthy and save lives.

The boys even got a picture of Austin and I.

I do have to give some major props for my hubby for making me a homemade Coconut Cream Pie. This was our first Easter we did all the "cooking" for our family. It was a fun adventure. It was something that we will always look back on and cherish but also remember we missed having all our loved ones in our home to share this very special occasion.

We will make it through this all together and come out the other end stronger.

I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

Keep a look out for some more stay at home fun from our family.
